HVAC Service Technician – Pre-Apprentice
Are you interested in a career in the HVAC industry? Our Pre-Apprentice position is a great way to get introduced or continue your path in HVAC. Advancement opportunities into an apprenticeship can be earned. No experience is required, but strong mechanical aptitude is essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with on-the-job mentors to learn every aspect of the HVAC industry
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn
- Ability to collaborate on projects
- Load and unload equipment
- Cutting and installing sheet metal ductwork
- Assisting HVAC Service Technicians with various tasks
- Adhere to CornerStone One safety policies and procedures
- Represent and maintain CornerStone One’s mission and values
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively; this is a labor-intensive position
- Reliable and punctual
- Pass drug tests/screening and pre-work physical
- Not afraid of heights
